Seminars in the prairies are in Medicine Hat, where there is a core group who practises together throughout the year. Robert Ballantyne was the grassroots coach for the prairies, and Nathen Marschel has taken over since his passing.
Andrea Falk taught in Saskatoon 2006-2008. Classes there were sponsored by the Chinese Martial Arts Academy. The head coach is Haven Sato, who coaches modern wushu. Their website is SaskWushu.
The seminars in Winnipeg are hosted by Ching Wu Athletic Association. The head coach there is David Cliffe, who teaches traditional shaolin. They have a weekly bagua training session on Saturdays.
