This trains the lion models of qiezhang, pizhang, grabbing, and also turning the sabre. It makes the arms stronger and further develops the concept of holding and rolling a big ball.

Action One: Koubu.

Action Two: Baibu liaozhang to the outside. The form is similar to the dragon liaozhang, but keeping the lion holding the ball form.

Action Three: Koubu to outside, tucking the head through and threading the rear hand through tight to the armpit to hold ball in a fairly extended position.

Action Four: Turn back to face centre, to simply change directions by lifting the lead hand so that it becomes the top hand. Use the power of the whole body to do this.

Action Five: Step to continue on the circle, rolling the ball to change sides.

The variations of the change are not in any specific order. They are numbered for convenience and this order may be adjusted later.
