Yu Zhiming (1918- ), was originally from Shandong and moved to Beijing.
Fan Yaohua (1934- ), was from Hebei, and started learning from Liu Wanchuan in 1959.
Peng Guangzheng (1924-1999), was also from Shandong.
Sun Wuling (1921-2001) was from Jilin in the northeast of China
Bi Jie was one of Liu Wanchuan's earliest students.
